For the season of Lent, Mike and Angela will explore segments of the Lenten daily devotional by renowned Hebrew Scriptures scholar Walter Brueggemann from his work “A Way Other Than Our Own.”
On today’s podcast, Mike and Angela discuss the devotions from Ash Wednesday and the first few days of Lent from Brueggemann’s “A Way Other Than Our Own.” Lent can be a time of wandering through the wilderness looking for the right path for our lives but it is also a way to engage in life-building habits and practices that can keep us on God’s path. Mike and Angela discuss the paths that are in conflict with God’s way for us as well as some of the stumbling blocks that we all face.
