Episode 6: Signs and Wonders – Rev. Ross Furio
The second sign in the Gospel of John occurs when Jesus is approached by a royal official with a sick son. He has come 15-20 miles to seek out Jesus so that he can heal his son. Jesus heals him from that distance speaking only words and the son is healed. This healing is a sign pointing to the great power that Jesus has as the Son of God as well as to the way that he can inspire and impart faith in others in their time of need.
