Day Trip to Belle Chevre Goat Cheese Creamery

All Adults!  Join us on Wednesday, March 23, as we travel to Elkmont, AL to the Belle Chevre Goat Cheese Creamery.  We will tour the creamery to learn and see first-hand how Belle Chevre makes its goat cheese.  We will meet their goats and at the end of the tour enjoy samples of their cream and artisan cheeses.  You will also have a chance to purchase cheese to take home.

  • 8:30 a.m.   Church bus and cars depart from the lower parking lot
  • 11:15 a.m.   Lunch at the Gin House Barbecue (everyone orders and pays individually)
  • 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.   Creamery Tour
  • 6 p.m.  Tentative arrival back at the church (depends on traffic)

Cost — $15 per person for admission and transportation.  We will need a few volunteers to take their cars.

Space is limited to the first 30 who sign-up.  Priority will be given to Wednesdays with Friends participants and church members. Reserve your spot — register and pay by Friday, March 18th.  Couples, because we are not allowing guests, you will need to register you will need to register separately.
