At BPUMC Kids, our goal is to help children from infancy through 5th grade learn who God is, how much God loves them, how they can have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, how they can grow in that relationship, and how they can share the love of God with others.

Check out our upcoming events or sign up for our newsletter below for more information, and we'll see you soon!

More About Our Programs

A Nursery is provided every Sunday for all kids ages six weeks to 4K. The nursery will open at 8:30 am and will be open until after our last worship services end at 11:45. Be sure to sign your little ones in so we can be sure we have all of the important allergy and contact information on hand. Also be sure to label bottles, sippy cups, and other personal things!

Preschool Sunday School

Preschool Sunday School is every Sunday 9:45-10:35 am. Ms. Marcie will have a lesson just for our preschool kids 2k-4k. Preschoolers signed into the nursery for the morning will automatically attend.

Elementary Sunday School

Elementary Sunday School is every Sunday 9:45-10:35am. Mr Stanley will have a fun lesson prepared for our rising kindergarten through 5th graders!

Children's Church

Children's Church meets every Sunday morning (except for the 1st Sunday of the month) for Kindergarten-5th grade! Kids who would like to attend are taken to Children's Church about 15 minutes into each worship service. Children who attend will experience a worship service geared towards them at their age level that includes prayer, offering, and a children's sermon.

Midweek Meetup

Midweek Meetup takes place every Wednesday during the school year from 5:30-7:30pm. During the evening the kids will have a $4 dinner, choir practice, grade-level Bible study, and recreation time. Once a month we also have Wild Wednesdays, which are special Midweek Meetups that are meant for kids to just come have fun!

Child Safety Policies

Bluff Park United Methodist Church believes that all persons are significant to the growth of God’s kingdom and should have opportunity to worship, learn, and serve in various capacities to ensure personal growth and growth of others. We seek to provide an environment that is physically, emotionally and spiritually safe for all persons who enter our doors, especially children and youth. It is our goal to be a “Safe Sanctuary” where we can work hand-in-hand growing our children and youth in their faith and a life devoted to Christ.

This document contains theological foundations, definitions of child abuse, and policies/procedures related to prevention, response, and reporting.
