In Mike’s sermon, he explores how the first two servants are actively doing what they can to invest and increase their master’s money in his absence and how the third servant simply digs a hole and maintains what he has been given. God provides us with resources and calls us to be good stewards of them. This requires us to live out of faith and hope rather than to live in a self-made prison of our fears. Consider how you can faithfully serve and take on a little risk for the sake of the mission that God gives to each of us.
