What does it mean to be a follower of Christ? Mary, Marth and Lazarus were all friends of of Jesus. The disciples knew him well. Yet, when Lazarus died, they did not believe he could help. Jesus raised Lazarus to show us what he had come among us to do – restore life and a right relationship with God. When Christ restores us, we must throw off the grave clothes and live life anew.
