We are called to be generous. We can forget that all that we have are gifts of grace, blessings, from God. As such, they are intrusted to us by God for the meeting of our needs, and to be used for the benefit of others. In short, we are blessed to be a blessing! How generous are we with our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness? For all of these attributes in our membership vows are things by which we can be stingy or generous. May we have generous hearts with all that we have been blessed with so that others may experience God’s blessings through us.
