The religious leaders didn’t care about the woman who was caught in adultery. They only wanted to use her to trap Jesus. They wanted him to get involved so they could catch him giving the wrong response. Instead, Jesus turned everything upside down. He brought the religious leaders low and extended forgiveness to this unnamed woman because he came to save the lost.
