Waiting is something that we resist in our everyday life. In fact our culture is driven not by a willingness to wait, but instead a desire for instant gratification. The reality is that waiting is an ancient spiritual practice, and something that, no matter how hard we try to avoid it, will always find us. All we can do is be a people who wait with hope.
