LifeCare Solutions: "GUIDE" Caregiver Support

Approximately 10% of Medicare beneficiaries have dementia and may be eligible for GUIDE. This program presents a unique opportunity to enhance patient health outcomes, alleviate financial strain, and bridge gaps in access to care, particularly in underserved areas, ensuring equitable support for all individuals affected by dementia. This standardized approach will allow people with dementia to remain safely in their homes for longer by preventing or delaying nursing home placement and hospitalizations, while also improving the quality of life for both individuals with dementia and their unpaid caregivers.

LifeCare Solutions will join us to give a presentation on this program that has now been approved to be provided through four providers in Alabama. All are welcome who are curious about resources for those caring for loved one’s with dementia.
