What To Expect
WHAT TO EXPECT IN TRADITIONAL WORSHIP
When worship with us in Traditional Worship at Bluff Park UMC, you will experience a friendly and relaxed form of historic Christian worship in a beautiful sanctuary designed for choral music. You will hear beautiful music from our Sanctuary Choir and our historic pipe organ. Dress is typically semi-formal, but wear what makes you most comfortable and know that you are welcome no matter what. Be sure to stop by the Welcome Desk near the sanctuary to find out more information!
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE GATHERING
When you worship with us at The Gathering at Bluff Park, you will experience a warm and engaging form of historic Christian worship with a modern twist. We gather each and every Sunday in our historic chapel with coffee and fellowship followed by praise and worship music from our worship team. At the core of this worship service is Holy Communion, which we celebrate together every week in The Gathering. When you visit be sure to stop by the Welcome Desk near the entrance of the Chapel for more information about our service and about how to get connected to a small group!
WHAT TO EXPECT IN CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children's Church takes place every Sunday morning (except for the 1st Sunday of the month) for Kindergarten-5th graders! Kids who would like to attend will be invited to walk with a teacher to Children's Church about 15 minutes into each worship service. Children who attend will experience a worship service geared towards their age level that includes prayer, offering, and a Children's Sermon. For the safety of the children in our care we have a Child Protection First Policy in place and require a background check on all volunteers and paid staff who work with our children.
