HOW WE OFFER ASSISTANCE
Pantry On The Bluff
The Pantry On The Bluff is a volunteer-run community ministry of Bluff Park United Methodist Church that distributes groceries, some household supplies, and diapers to anyone in need in our community, from older adults to families with children to the newly unemployed. The pantry is open on the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m on a first-come/first-serve basis at 733 Valley Street. Clients should come to the South covered entrance for assistance, where there will be signs and greeters to direct you and answer any questions you may have.
Bundles Of Hope
Bluff Park UMC is a distribution site for Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank, which offers hope to families during times of financial hardship by providing their infants and toddlers with diapers. Diapers are distributed on the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00am to 12:00pm on a first-come/first-serve basis at 733 Valley Street. Clients should come to the South covered entrance for assistance, where there will be signs and greeters to direct you and answer any questions you may have.
Counseling Services
Bluff Park United Methodist Church partners with United Counseling for counseling services. Their counselors provide marriage, family, group, and individual counseling for issues spanning from anxiety to grief.
Emergency Assistance
Bluff Park United Methodist Church can help with some emergency assistance needs ranging from assisting with utility bills to emergency food needs not covered by Pantry on the Bluff. We do not assist with rent. In order to request emergency assistance please visit our office during normal business hours and bring a valid form of identification along with any bill.
